ABOUT
Caroline's recent work evokes the ever-changing but eternally present micro-scapes which surround the Cornish coastline. Delving deep into intricate searches to uncover elusive, immersive moments within a seemingly still, yet always moving seascape. Moments which far too often pass unrecognised in the current climate of overspeed through which we live.
Her interpretations of the richly populated micro-fabric of nature have come from exploring the coastline in a manner reflective of how her children explore. Freely and in a way in which time disappears. And with that liberation comes the ability to see so much more than we often allow ourselves to perceive.
Caroline's work is guided by instinct. But it is also part of a personal imperative to maintain the freedom and liberation her inner child longs for. It is a lens through which to view the world like inquisitive children exploring rock pools.
